Heidelberg Historical Society celebrated its 40th anniversary
in 2007. It was formed in 1967, to encourage preservation
of the Heidelberg district's history.
In 2009 we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of occupying the former Heidelberg Courthouse as our museum.
Visit
our local museum, containing historical objects, documents,
photographs and maps. The museum was opened in the Old
Heidelberg Court House, Jika Street, Heidelberg, in 1979.
