Heidelberg Historical Society celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2007. It was formed in 1967, to encourage preservation of the Heidelberg district's history.

Visit our local museum, containing historical objects, documents, photographs and maps. The museum was opened in the Old Heidelberg Court House, Jika Street, Heidelberg, in 1979.

Share our interest in the history of Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Greensborough, Viewbank, Macleod, Eaglemont and surrounding areas.

March 2008 Bus Trip
The annual bus trip, coinciding with the Heidelberg Festival, took place on 16th March. This year, 50 people visited the parks in the Eaglemont housing estates, designed by Walter Burley Griffin.
